Ember House — Music Festival Hospitality Village, Austin, TX

The Outcome

All six concepts opened on the first day of the festival, fully permitted and compliant. The activation was widely cited in trade press as one of the most technically polished festival food experiences in recent years.

A boutique hospitality group was selected to design and operate a multi-venue food and beverage activation for a major music festival in Austin. The project involved six individual dining and bar concepts operating simultaneously within a temporary structure village — each requiring its own health permits, fire safety plan, and utility connections.

The timeline from engagement to opening: 11 weeks.

Our Role

Rhea Strategies deployed a dedicated project team to manage all code and compliance workstreams in parallel. We produced a master permitting strategy for all six concepts, coordinated with Austin's building and health departments simultaneously, and managed the MEP installation across the entire activation footprint.

Our project management team held daily coordination calls with vendors, contractors, and city officials to compress the timeline without creating compliance gaps.
